Janet A. Cook currently teaches at the Pastel Society of America, and conducts workshops for the Art Students League in NYC. Recently she also taught workshops in France and at the Southern Utah University. She studied at the Art Students League and the National Academy of Art and Design and holds a degree in the History of Art from de Montford University, UK. She is represented by Haven Gallery in Northport, NY and Dacia Gallery NYC. She has had several solo exhibitions in the United States and been involved in many group exhibitions, including  ‘Women Painting Women’ at the Principle Gallery, NC, and in the Fountain Art Show, Armory, NY. Her work has also been shown in England, France, Germany, and Romania.
