Arthur Haywood is a fine artist and illustrator. He earned a B.F.A in Illustration from The Maryland Institute College of Art, before studying classical drawing at a small atelier in Philadelphia. He is currently furthering his study of classical drawing and painting at the Grand Central Atelier in Long Island City, NY.
He has much experience in the education of children for the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. He works as a teaching assistant and as an artists assistant in both the completion and installation of murals around the city. He also works part-time for the Philadelphia Museum of Art, assisting with educational outreach at the visitor’s center program.
